Check out the stars we have had the pleasure of promoting over the past years in Spain. Stars from all parts of the globe performing to literally thousands of people in a unique venue in the round on the Costa Blanca. These shows have all been part of the open air live music festival at the Villamartin Plaza from May through September.
Les McKeown & the Bay City Rollers performing in 2019 bringing the plaza to a new level of energy and stars! To almost 2,500 people, Les and the band performed all of the Rollers' hits taking the crowd back to the 70s. It was truly one of the most electric nights with Rewind Spain. Tartan was everywhere and ending the night with "Bye Bye Baby" what better way to end 2019's Summer Music Festival.
On September 20th 2018, Rewind Spain rocked the Villamartin Plaza with international super star on stage, Mr Leo Sayer. With a crowd of over 2,000 people, the Orihuela Costa was brought to life with Leo and his band performing all of his hits and more! Truly, an amazing night proving just what Rewind Spain concerts can offer.
2019 saw Rewind Spain with another star, Tony Christie and his band performing nothing short of a fabulous night. Tony took the stage and performed many of his hits and more to another packed audience. Singing his hit "Amarillo" had the crowd up and dancing Congos all over. Simply a fantastic night by one of the nicest men in the music industry.
Los Pacaminos with Paul Young hit the stage on June 13th 2019 bringing a totally different style of music to a packed audience. With their Tex Mex style music, people were up on their feet dancing away. Singing many of their own hits as well many well known tracks such as "La Bamba", the crowd was electric! A fantastic night of "tequila fuelled music" as they say.
Paul Da Vinci is known for his 3-octave voice range and being the voice of the Rubettes chart songs "Sugar Baby Love" & "Your Baby Ain't Your Baby". Paul is also the voice for the "Tight Fit" tracks also. He came to the Spain with his band and always performs an amazing show, filling the house as he takes you through several decades of music. Always a must and never a miss!
Singer-songwriter Rob Falsini has been to Spain several times performing alone and now comes with his full band bringing a night of his own music and as well few others we all know and love. Performer and musical co-writer of one of the largest stage shows ever - the original "Le Reve" at the Wynne Hotel in Las Vegas - Rob brings music from his heart to our stage. His 5th CD, "Spanish Nights", was recorded live in the Villamartin Plaza.
Be it just Ray Lewis on his own or with the boys "Still Driftin'", it is guaranteed to be a fantastic night taking you back to your teens! Ray, the former lead singer with the Drifters, always puts on a fabulous show to a packed house. Ray has graced the stage over the past few years numerous times in Spain and it is always a great show.
Andy placed 2nd in the second series of the UK X Factor, putting him on a new road in life and bringing him to Spain with Rewind Spain concerts. Andy brought his Rat Pack - Soul style music to another full house of patrons hanging on every note. We were fortunate to have Andy at our Super Sunday Charity Day where he performed songs from his Nat King Cole show and it was another fabulous day.
Steve Brookstein, winner of the first UK X-Factor, joined us on Super Sunday - the largest Charity Event on the Costas - in October 2019 along side Andy Abraham. Performing to a full house, Steve had everyone joining in as he sang numerous songs from his albums as many other favourites. We look forward to having Steve back with us soon.
